From the very heart of the city, the Gothic quarter beats at each step we take. It is the district with the highest density of historical buildings, shops, hotels, tourists, tales and thieves.
The Gothic quarter is not only the Cathedral, Saint James Square, the Jewish quarter or the "trippy" square with all its bars. There is another less known side, where Picasso went to School, the pregnant virgin of Saint Just, the thirteen geese of the cloister, cafés with Roman walls and hundreds of anecdotes that WalkingPlanets! will discover for you.
All in all, 2000 years of history in a passionate walk.
Planet Gothic will start from the sea, from Colon, to unfold the streets of Barcino, the Romanesque churches and tapas places. Although the Town Hall and the Cathedral are a must , we will also take you to the hidden and forgotten Santa Ana church, an oasis in the centre of Barcelona.
Up close and personal with the Gothic Quarter on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00 h from Colon Monument.
WALKS: Tuedays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00h. Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 12:15h
Price: 20€ per person (VAT included). Meeting Point: starting at Colón monument
