Who are we?
WALKINGPLANETS! is an independent project of the cultural and tourist scene in Barcelona. Tired of the conventionalisms, and aware of the lack of quality alternative tourism services for the visitors in Barcelona, a small group of professional, official and local guides came up with walking itineraries to take you through the history and the culture in Barcelona, Just as it really is.

Where do we come from?
Our experience travelling around the world for the last ten years allows us to be speakers for different cultures and act as bridges for the understanding. We are Catalan, but we have lived in Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Paris, London and Madrid, and we have backpacked the other half of the planet. We also know what you want. We, like you, have an open spirit, a genuine interest and curiosity that drives us to travel and discover, rediscover tourism destinations in all its aspects.

What do we do?
We share our cultural restlessness. This has taken us to walk around our Barcelona and come up with "walks" which combine contemporary arquitecture and hidden medieval cloisters. We talk about history and current affairs, the musical scene, art and film making, and it will be our pleasure to introduce you to the hidden jewels of our city.

Where do we do it?
Our idea is to offer itineraries in the heart of the city of Barcelona, with guaranteed departures everyday (except Mondays), which you can join just by making a reservation. We also have a passion for art, so we also offer the opportunity to bring you face-to-face with Picasso, Miró and Dalí.
If you plan to stay more days in the city, you cannot miss Sitges ( gay capital ) or Girona, as they are two of our best kept secrets to discover...

How do we do it?
On foot : We believe the best way to get to know places is walking them. Be prepared to breathe fresh air and be surprised by what may appear round the next corner.
Public Transport: Planet Sitges, Figueres, Tarragona and Girona are reached by train, as we care for the environment and your pocket. We encourage you to use the public transport, which is fast, cheap and comfortable. Your guide will be waiting for you at your destination.
